Union County Law Enforcement Training Facility Range
Union County, NC
This range has an Emergency Vehicle Operation Training Course (EVOC), firing range, shoot house, breached training area and outdoor training pavilion.
Clark Nexsen started working with the Union County Sheriff’s Office in 2012 to evaluate a rural site for design and construction of a multi-phase Law Enforcement Training Facility. When completed the Sheriff’s training facility will consist of an Emergency Vehicle Operation Training Course, (EVOC), firing range, shoot house, breached training area and outdoor training pavilion.
The Union County Law Enforcement Training Facility Range is a fully baffled and tactical all weather range. The facility contains a single 14-point, 100-yard range; and supporting facilities such as weapon cleaning, storage, armory, laundry, toilets, janitor’s closet and training director’s office. The range is designed as a tactical range with multiple firing locations and the ability to drive vehicles into the space, thus offering a variety of training scenarios.
