Buncombe County Indoor Firearms Training Facility

Located on the existing County training campus for police and fire personnel, the new Buncombe County Indoor Firearms Training Facility includes a 12-point, 100-yard range; a 12-point, 50-yard range; and support facilities such as weapons cleaning, storage, and an armory. The ranges are fully tactical walk down ranges. The facility also has two classrooms and administrative areas (offices, break room) to support the County’s training programs. The ranges are designed as tactical ranges with multiple firing locations and the ability to drive vehicles into the space, thus offering a variety of training scenarios.
