Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Retrofits Ranges 9-10

The firearms training divisions of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in GLYNCO, GA includes multiple indoor and outdoor firearms training ranges. Ranges 9 and 10 are fully enclosed Indoor Firing Ranges. This project modified the area behind the bullet traps to extend the existing auger bullet collection system which terminated inside of the range to a new location on the exterior. Additions were built to the rear of the ranges that housed the new collection equipment and provided for environmentally protected space for maintenance staff to retrieve and dispose of spent ammunition. The project included demolition of a portion of the existing facility and existing collection system, architectural design for the new addition to each range and associated site work and electrical and HVAC design.
